After Montmartre
After Montmartre
蒙马特之后

I no longer remember the specific details of what was written inside—who betrayed whom, or who fell in love with whom?
But my body still remembers that feeling of being dangerously drawn in.
After Montmartre is an original theatre piece about the afterlife of Qiu Miaojin’s Last Words from Montmartre, without staging the book itself.
It explores how, after the author’s death, this classic continues to be written by new bodies, media, and machines; how selection and violence recur in contemporary intimacy and public space; and how love and harm are renamed when language can be generated, polished, and arranged.
The work lets this classic meet the here and now, and be reopened between humans and AI.
