The Third Eyes

A mother dies of an overdose. Surveillance shows her daughter lingering outside the door for forty minutes. An insurance claim is triggered: as the sole heir, the daughter also becomes the sole suspect. Testimony collides with evidence; the tribunal dissects their bond like an autopsy. In the flash of a nightclub song, childhood shame is replayed, love and violence entangled. What unfolds is not just a legal inquest, but a belated reckoning—an inquiry into how freedom is bought, and what price must be paid for it.
