Before the Fall
Before the Fall
一间阁楼引发的血案

Only later did I realize what truly frightened me: that before the fall, it may never have been truly alive at all.
Perhaps it was only in that single moment of falling that it felt its heart beat, if only for an instant.
Inspired by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s classic Die Wildente, Before the Fall brings the secrets of its attic into the digital age.
A short video spirals out of control, forcing a man who believed he had escaped his past to confront the uneasy boundary between truth and survival. He is both Hjalmar, clinging to comforting illusions in the face of reality, and Gregers, determined to expose the truth—even when idealism threatens to destroy everything in its path.
In a world of endless posting, sharing, and rewriting, attention shapes judgement, truth is constantly edited, and genuine understanding becomes increasingly elusive. Do we still dare to open the attic window?
