- Introduction
Where mountains, sea, and action converge - we reflect, we look ahead, and we sail on!
Freshly awarded the Heddaprisen 2025 for “Best Dance Performance" — Norway’s highest honor in performing arts — the Belgian collective fieldworks brings its latest production, “yet so far” to the Sea World Culture and Arts Center.
Renowned for their innovative site-specific creations, fieldworks seamlessly blends architecture, memory, and movement, guiding audiences through poetic gaps between reality and imagination. Led by Norwegian artist Heine Avdal and Japanese creator Yukiko Shinozaki, in collaboration with Japanese sound artist Tetsuya Umeda, this project brings together artists from Germany, Belgium, Latvia, Japan, Norway, and China to craft a unique experience tailored specifically for the cultural center.
Limited to only 10 participants per show, this 50-minute immersive journey invites you to wander lightly through overlooked corners, trace the imprints of time, and reawaken your senses through moments of pause and connection. More than a performance — it’s a tender, thoughtful exploration of space, memory, and what lies ahead. Join us, and discover beauty in the details.
