Positioned as a professional force in cultural content and venue operations, China Merchants Culture Industry main business includes the operation of cultural complexes, development and operation of exhibitions and performing arts intellectual properties, operation of sports venues and events, international and public education, media digitisation operations, and the expansion of innovative cultural industry.

Performing Arts Connection
Performing Arts Connection is the first professional operation entity under China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings, specialising in planning performing arts projects and managing performance venues. Despite being established for just six years, Performing Arts Connection is deeply passionate about and committed to innovation in the performing arts. In 2022, it successfully organized the inaugural Shekou Theatre Festival, themed "Theatre in Situ," which received high acclaim. It aspires for the arts to become an integral part of the "Good Life" community in Shekou, an area with distinct charm. The story of the Shekou Theatre Festival is just beginning, and Performing Arts Connection hopes to collectively create lasting memories about the good life for the current and future eras.
